Ostend lies to the east of the city and has an industrial feel to it. Think meat packing district New York or East London….that’s got you thinking. It’s another very up and coming area with plenty going for it, it does however still have a way to go, but soon it will be another major hotspot.
Along the river towards Osthafen you can find artist studios, furniture shops, Oostend Cafe and Bar and an amazing area around the ECB. Along the east part of the river you will find loads of festivals on during the summer and is home to parties like LAZY, and Die Kleinste Disko Der Welt. It’s the perfect place to bring visitors or take a stroll with the family
Ostpark is another great spot for the whole family. It’s great for running, a weekend bbq or taking a stroll through the lovely gardens there.
