Looking for a fun excursion with the family?

Well, look no further. I would definitely recommend the Ebbelwei-Expreß. This charming tram has been running since 1977. In January 1977, Stadtwerke Frankfurt commissioned two artists, CM and Estine Estenfelder to design the exterior and interior of a vintage K-carriage tram. A Traveling Cider Pub was their inspiration and it’s been a novelty ever since.

Finally after living here in Frankfurt for 8 months, my family and I finally took some friends visiting us on the famous Ebbelwei-Expreß. It’s a great way to show your guests a bit of Frankfurt while drinking an Apfelwein and eating a bag of pretzels.

The tour begins at the Zoo and makes it’s way to the Bahnshofviertel, down to Sachenhausen and then back up to the Zoo. You can hop on and off at any of the tram stops. (stop list on their website)
