This is not a drill! I repeat, this is not a drill! We can slowly begin reemerging after the CO-VID19 lockdown! Grab a measuring stick (pool noodles are a firm favourite) and a mask and get your mingle on! Yes people you can now head out into the big wide world, well no lets not get too crazy, you can leave your house and meet a friend – no hugging please elbows only.
Tips when socialising and meeting friends:
- Get dressed, pyjamas are not acceptable
- Go for a run prior, seeing someone other than immediate family after so long may incite overwhelming energy and excitement and lead to hugging
- Double check their name before full disclosure of your inner most secrets, masks make it difficult to tell who you talking to
- These are not your children, repeating yourself 100 times is not necessary

Good to know:
- Those who have chosen to ignore oral hygiene will now learn what everyone else has had to endure
- Everyone is an expert so don’t listen to any of them
- With any luck stupid Facebook lockdown challenges will abate
- Toilet paper and pasta can now be found at all places near you
- Home schooling may actually end
- Now is possibly the first time you will not be frowned upon in Germany for not carrying cash in your wallet!
Some of our favourite haunts that are open again:
- the Schirn – don’t miss the opportunity to see their “Fantastic Women” installation
- City beach – sitting outside overlooking the skyline whilst digging your toes into the sand, bliss!
