We first came across Angela Miklas and her gorgeous handcrafted leather handbags at a pop-up back in December 2018. Since then we continue to dream about her leather handbags on nightly basis!! Miklas’s bags are absolutely beautiful and we find ourselves drawing parallels with another power house of a woman and designer Anya Hindmarch. Craftsmanship, individuality, sustainability are just some of the words the come to mind. Add to this, Miklas has an incredible work ethic and continues to produce all her pieces just outside Frankfurt in Offenbach. They are all still handcrafted by traditional manufacturers, the very same who set the quality seal for Goldpfeil.
She offers a range of luxurious bags that are one-of-a-kind. They represent individuality, craftsmanship and versatility just like the women she designs for. Creating pieces to suit each individual woman and her individual needs. Her line offers some of your usual suspects the tote, the clutch, the wallet as well as the ist bag and her signature piece, the foldover bag.
As just mentioned, her signature piece is the Foldover Bag. Essentially, a two bags in one due, the double-sided envelope offering bicolor and tricolor color combinations allowing you to change the colour of your bag as often as you change the mood you in. We think this is just pure genius!
