FA:ME - The Sandwich Shop | the Frankfurt edit

Ok, so we need to talk about something called a sandwich. I’m American, so I know what a good sandwich is. A good sandwich has to be hearty, have the best ingredients, and lastly but most importantly it has to taste mighty fine. Unfortunately, since living in Frankfurt (it’s been a year now) I had yet to find such a sandwich, that is, until I stepped foot into FA:ME on Wallstraße in Sachsenhausen. I had been meaning to go there for ages, but just never found the time. Finally, over the summer holiday my daughter and I treated ourselves. I’m still craving that sandwich.

It’s super cute inside, very well put together and the menu has a variety delicious sounding sandwiches on offer. I had the polo and my daughter had the tuna. My child is seven, she never stops talking, I mean never, that was until she took a bite of her tuna sandwich. We sat in silence for a good 10 minutes while we devoured our food. So if that is anything to go by, well then I would definitely say it was a bloody good sandwich. We walked out full and very satisfied. And I can’t wait to go back!
