Can you believe it’s almost advent!!!! OMG how did this year go sooo fast??!!!! Saying that, thank god this year has flown by because it couldn’t go fast enough. Christmas may be a bit different this year. Many of us will not have the opportunity to travel home to see our families. We are forced to stay where we are at. But this does not mean Christmas is ruined. No sir, it means we have the opportunity to create our own traditions. This year we must be grateful for what we can do and give thanks for having our health.
This also does not mean we have to turn into a bunch of grinches and shut the curtains and stay in bed. It means we need to celebrate more!!!! Let’s give a big ole middle finger to Corona and deck out our houses so much that corona will want to run away forever!!!!!!

My daughter and I pass Nima’s on the way to her school most days. We give ourselves some time to peep at the window as there’s always something nice to look at. This year Edith’s eyes widen as she saw herself a beautiful Christmas tree ornament hanging in the window. She asked if that could be her ornament for this year. Every year we buy a new special ornament. So we went back the other day and bought this gorgeous tree ornament.
