When on only your second visit the barista, Rawa (who moonlights as the owner), remembers where you sat & your coffee of choice you know you’ve found somewhere special! A beautifully authentic and unpretentious coffeehouse in Nordend!

Of course service is one thing, but what’s a coffeehouse without coffee! I’m going out on a limb here but this may well be some of my favourite coffee of all time! Add to this they roast their own beans, use fresh milk and have a great playlist!

The interior is a mix of relaxed casual and cool! A split level cafe where the coffee aromas literally make you swoon…coffee roasting on site you say?? Downstairs, simple wooden tables are dotted around with a large bar and stools at the window (my favourite seat in the house). A small collection of books on coffee in the corner, there is absolutely no doubt that coffee is passion in this establishment. A staircase spirals up to the second level where an enormous wooden table commands the space, perfect for large group gatherings. In the corner a swing chair entices you to sit and enjoy your coffee within its rattan walls.

In addition, I always take note of are the small details, the ones that say ‘we really care about our customers’. Details like a small kids corner with a few bits and bobs to keep little fingers entertained. Without a doubt a very welcome addition for the mums, giving them just enough time to savour their coffee as opposed to inhale it.
